Poker Networks – Introduction
Lets say you singup for an online poker room. You’ve
read all my stuff and you’re ready to hit the no limit full ring 25c/50c
tables. You signup, get a good bonus
to start, you log on and find out that there is only 1 full ring 25c/50c and
only 3 players sitting… what a turn off!
The truth is, most poker room online does not have much
traffic, but still, you will find at least 3-4 tables of no limit 25c/50c almost
everywhere! Why?
Because most poker rooms groups together in networks!
Let me give you an example, the Cryptologic network.
The Cryptologic network groups a few poker rooms, the most importants are
Sun Poker, Interpoker and Poker Plex. What’s
the secret? They share tables,
everyone playing at any of those sites will see the exact same tables with the
exact same players. You log into Sun
Poker, you sit at a table, you don’t know, the 6 others players might all be
logged into Interpoker.
Not all poker rooms are in network with others, some are
independent. Full Tilt is a big
independent poker room. There are many poker rooms and networks, but of
course, I am going to tell you which are the important ones and some quick
though about them:
Party: All kind of players, not many bonuses, awesome software
Ongame: Full of weak players, frequent bonuses, software could be better
Cryptologic: Many strong players but easy to identify the fish. Big bonuses every single month for everyone. Good software
Absolute: Full of strong players, more bonuses you could possibly want, good software.
Other networks I do not recommend:
iPoker: Haven’t played much, horrible interface
B2B: So few players!
Boss Media: Players are below average, but the software is horrible and you will not get many bonuses.
Prima: Only tried it for about 2 days, but it was very tight!
Very very tight!
