Shorthanded Limit
Now this time, don't expect a preflop chart, I would not be helping you by
giving you that! Shorthanded limit is all about attacking and defending
blinds. Now, I will explain you 3 things that will help you!
Already make hands are the best ones!
Since this is limit holdem, you can't bet as much as you want postflop, so
hands that does not get strong often just can't pay enough when you hit to
compensate for all those other times. So, unlike in no limit holdem, 56s
is crap, you are much better with Q8! The big hands are either 2 big cards
(like AK, KQ, etc) and pocket pairs.
You just can't play tight!
You are going to be posting a blind at least 1 time out of 3, so if you
play tight, you will be blinded out! No way your strong hands are going to
make up for all those lost blinds. So this game is all about attacking and
defending blinds. The tighter the players are on the blinds, the more
hands you should raise preflop! Do not follow any chart, instead, notice
how much player folds and abuse those who folds too much.
This game is hard
It is very important that you understand this before attemping to play
shorthanded limit. Sinc you will need to play many crap hands, you will be
facing difficult decisions all the time. Learning this game requires less
theory and more practice than other forms of holdem.
